We observe five UAE supercomputers on the latest TOP500 list, and none from Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait or Oman.

What we observe
We read all 500 rows of the June 2026 TOP500 list [1]. Five systems are in the UAE, at ranks 46, 47, 109, 241 and 301. Their combined Rmax is 141.76 PFlop/s (our sum of the five listed values). Three are listed under Core42 or Group 42 and two under the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman have no entries [1]. The two highest entries from the five states sit next to each other: an NVIDIA DGX H100 SuperPOD (rank 46, 55.81 PFlop/s) and the AMD MI210-based AI-03 (rank 47, 54.12 PFlop/s), both listed under Core42 [1].
Every entry from the five states on the June 2026 TOP500 list is in the UAE: five systems, 141.76 PFlop/s combined.

Why it matters
TOP500 is the only free, dated, system-level public record of large compute by country. It is a floor: it counts only systems whose owners submit a benchmark. Private and sovereign AI clusters are often not submitted, so an absence from the list does not mean an absence of capacity. For AIO Watch indicator C, this list gives a repeatable, dated count each edition [2].
Method
Source: TOP500 June 2026 list, ranks 1 to 500, read on 23 Oct 2026 [1]. Country and operator are as listed. Rmax is the HPL benchmark result in PFlop/s. The sum is our own calculation. Operator names: ranks 46 and 47 Core42; 109 TII; 241 Group 42; 301 TII. Definitions follow AIO Watch method note AIO-M01, v1.1, indicator C [2].
